About GAMSP
The Georgia Association of Middle School Principals (GAMSP) is the professional association and unified voice for Georgia’s middle level principals, assistant principals, and aspiring school leaders. As one of seven affiliates of the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL), Georgia’s state affiliate of the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP), and a proud supporter of the Association for Middle Level Education (AMLE), GAMSP is dedicated to advancing excellence in middle level education.
Serving leaders in grades 5–8, or any combination of those grades, GAMSP advocates for the unique needs of young adolescents while equipping school leaders with the tools, resources, and professional network needed to thrive.
Members enjoy premier conferences, monthly webinars, targeted professional learning, statewide networking through TeamReach, leadership opportunities, advocacy at the state and national levels, and recognition programs celebrating excellence in middle level leadership. Through our connections with GAEL, NAESP, and AMLE, members gain access to the latest research, best practices, and a strong professional community.
